Groves urged Arsene Wenger to beat all his rivals to the punch. Groves reckons Wanyama should be a priority signing and a bargain at under £10million.
He told the Daily Express: “I really like Wanyama – he is destined for big things.
“He may be young but he plays for a massive club, has lots of experience for a young player, and he fits the Wenger model – he is hungry, strong and technically very good.
“He would offer real protection for the back four, and a real thrust and drive going forward.”
Meanwhile, former star, Freddie Ljungberg has renewed his ties with the Club by taking on an ambassadorial role.
The Swede said: “I’m honoured to take on this ambassadorial role. The Club has a special place in my heart as everyone knows and I’m looking forward to helping the Club grow.”
Perry Groves hopes they can land Celtic midfielder, Victor Wanyama.
